How Congress Failed: The Fall

Fall Of Rahul Gandhi: What's Next For The Congress Party?

It's been more than a year since BJP formed its government again and unlike 2014 when congress party was expecting a defeat and it's sort of dust it's clothes and knees and got up on its feet a little bit better this time the confusion within the Congress is much greater also because this was the second defeat for them. There was much noise among Congress party's fan club on social media and everywhere that Rahul Gandhi should quit and is responsible for the Congress party's fate. But the situation right now is that Congress party is in a mess. I will try and elaborate on this situation for you that why is congress continuously declining in the nation as well as in the states.
Does Congress have a future and if so, what will it take to give the Congress a new future? So first of all if you go through the country and calculate Congress MPs, except South between Kerala and Tamil Nadu to three states where Congress party has got seats are Tamil Nadu where it had another ally, Kerala where BJP is not a rival and Punjab where it has a strong leader everywhere else in the fight with the BJP Congress has lost out. So if you look at the Congress right now, it's a heap of Ashes? which has no spark. But the heap of trash is not yet burned to ashes. Why do I say so because under this Heap lies a fact which is 12 crore votes? BJP has got 22 and a half crore congress Congress has got Twelve, not a small number than other parties. So even practically if any party has the ability or the possibility to contest the BJP for its hold over the large parts of India. So I would say it's dying it's on drugs but it is not dead yet.

REASONS FOR THE DECLINE

1)NO STRONG LEADER

It's not just that they don't have another nominee for the leader position it's just that the Congress still can't get up from the dynastic rule. It's been 15 years since Rahul Gandhi stood up from the congress party as a new face but in last 15 years he has not earned anything from the nation like no trust, no faith, it seems like the people of the country are not really happy with his ideologies or his way of governing which Congress party should really think about. I know it will hurt in the beginning but right now the only solution which we can see is the end of Rahul Gandhi's leadership.

2)DISRESPECTFUL BEHAVIOUR AGAINST PARTY WORKERS

Various times we have seen this that Congress party never gives the proper credit or position to those who have worked for them whereas they put the blame of losing on the party workers only.
Like recently we saw in Rajasthan where Sachin Pilot did everything to make the party win and didn't get the deserving position and in the last UP elections Priyanka Gandhi put all the blame on the party workers for the lose whereas it was already fixed that Congress will have a great loss in UP because they never had that stronghold over the state

Arrogance does not take a leader much ahead in politics unless you have a remarkable track record in governance which Congress should learn from BJP as they have a very grounded image in front of their party workers which they showed in the elections of 2019. After the elections, Amit Shah himself sent letters to all the party workers thanking them for their collective efforts.

3)LOST AMONGST THE YOUTH

As we know 65% of the Indian population is below 35 years of age. This underlines the importance of youth voters in India elections. Where Rahul Gandhi calls himself a youth leader (though he is 49 years old) should have focused on the youth problems like what Kejriwal did in his first CM elections.
Unemployement is the biggest problem for the youth which Rahul should have focused and he also raised questions about that in the beginning. But Rahul is a small kid couldn't focus on one thing and like always he could not stick to that issue and get into the national security issue raised by Modi. Rahul focussed more on the Rafale non-corruption case and forgot everyday issues. The young voters acknowledged the problem unemployement as a serious issue but they didn't have other option and trusted Modi to solve the issue.

4) DECLINE IN THE PARTY IMAGE

Ever since BJP formed its government they always tried to destroy the competition even if it is with Kejriwal in Delhi or with SP and BSP but this is their way of playing the game so we can't say anything about this but Congress should know-how to overcome this and how to maintain the image of the party in the eyes of the nation.
Also, we all are aware of the funny rallies of Rahul Gandhi where we have seen him saying hilarious things which then used by the opposition to troll him and to call him a baby boy even his 'Pappu' name is really famous in the entire nation and because is of all this what he does BJP always presents him as a funny character.

5)NO AGENDA NO VISION

In every election rally of Rahul Gandhi if you'll listen to his speeches you'll get to know how much he's obsessed by Modiji, that his entire rally moves around Modi's criticism.  He'll just speak about Modi is this-Modi is that but he never understands that people don't wanna listen about all this he never talks about his own agendas and policy just Modi-Modi. Whereas if you'll see the rallies of other political parties like AAP or BJP they talk about what they have done and what they will do in the next 5 yrs.

6) FAILED TO KNOW THE INTEREST OF THE PEOPLE

Since a very long time Congress has always failed to understand the interest of the people in both the state and also in the nation on the other side BJP were focused on these things more like the majority population which is of Hindus are under the control of BJP and also the way they fought terrorism impressed the entire nation and when it comes to the state election like in UP they got the focus of people on Ram Mandir and won the trust their also, whereas Congress never thought of doing something like this.

CONCLUSION

In my opinion, Congress should first of all stop this dynastic rule and should think of winning the elections rather putting BJP down. But right now it does not seem that they are doing anything for this, they are still continuing the same old game. Though we must give one year to see any change in the approach of Congress either the same will happen to them what happened to BSP the will also turn into a state party slowly and gradually.
