Players To Watch Out In CPL 2020

The 8th season of Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is set to begin from August 18. The whole tournament will be played in Trinidad & Tobago, and all the matches will be held across two stadiums. Ahead of the tournament, we look at some players who would make an impact:

1. Chris Lynn (St Kitts and Nevis Patriots)

Over the last few years, he has been a known face in the T20 cricket. He has a terrific strike rate of 144.15 in T20s. The 30-year-old, who will ply his trade for St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, is expected to unleash a flurry of wild shots in the tournament, a nightmare for any bowling attack. Ahead of the IPL 2020, he was released by Kolkata Knight Riders, he was picked up by 4-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians.

2. Oshane Thomas(Jamaica Tallawahs)-

He was among the five players that were retained by Jamaica Tallawahs this season. He made his CPL debut in 2017 but it was in 2018 where he showed his full potential. He emerged as the second-highest wicket-taker in the season with 18 wickets in 10 matches in CPL 2018. he will play for rajsthan royals after cpl

3. Jason Holder (Barbados Tridents)-

the skipper of the West Indies test team and Barbados Tridents, Jason Holder is a vital part of Barbados Tridents. He has registered significant contributions with bat and ball. He will play a huge role in the Tridents title-defending campaign this season.

4. Nicholas Pooran (Guyana Amazon Warriors)

Nicholas Pooran is one of the best batsmen in middle overs in the CPL. His stroke play is entertaining to watch. In coming years, he can have the same impact AB De Villiers had for South Africa in the middle order. Ahead of the IPL 2020, he was retained by Kings XI Punjab.

5. Jayden Seales (Trinbago Knight Riders)

As we all know West Indies has produced many fast bowling legends and Jayden Seales can be one of them. He can swing the ball in both directions and consistently clocks around 140s, his pace and accuracy are outstanding. Ahead of the CPL 2020, he was signed by Trinbago Knight Riders.
